Dr. Richard S. Bradley practiced in Adairsville, GA, in Bartow County until he moved 
to Dalton, GA in 1926. His wife, Ora L. Bradley, wrote about their life in her book 
"The Country Doctor's Wife." The ledger is for Dr. Bradley's Adairsville practice 
and includes accounts for 692 patients. The ledger is indexed. Each person's account 
lists the dates, Doctor's activities [be they surgery, obstetrics, visit, medicine or 
tooth extraction], the account status, when and with what the account was settled. 
The last three pages list the amounts received by month for the years 1911-1912. He 
was a physician.
