Re-dedication of Cornerstone

In January of 2003 we removed the cornerstone of the1903 Bartow County Gold Dome Courthouse to check the objects placed there 100 years earlier. A new box was placed in the cornerstone and sealed on Memorial Day, May 30, 2005 for another 100 years .

Tour of Historic Homes

This year's Tour of Historic Homes is scheduled for November 3 and 4, 2007. Click Here
Everyone is invited to participate in a tour of five historic homes in the Olde Town Historic District of Cartersville. Come see what renovation and preservation can accomplish.

Tours will begin Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM and again on Sunday, November 4 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00PM.

Tickets can be purchased at the 1903 Gold Dome Courthouse in downtown Cartersville. Price is $15 per person. Free shuttle service will be provided at that location.

Christmas at Rose Lawn

Annual Christmas Dinner will be held December 1, 2007.
